With high sensitivity of field samples to Fosfomycin and excellent solubility in drinking water, BACTROFÓS® contributes to farm routines by combining technical support and ease of administration in the health management of poultry and swine.

Fosfomycin (as calcium fosfomycin) …………………….. 25.0 g

DIRECTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE:
Poultry: BACTROFÓS® must be administered to poultry at a dose of 40 mg of fosfomycin, equivalent to 160 mg of the product, per kilogram of body weight, per day, for 7 consecutive days, through drinking water or feed.
Swine: BACTROFÓS® must be administered to swine at a dose of 40 mg of fosfomycin, equivalent to 160 mg of the product, per kilogram of body weight per day, for 5 consecutive days through drinking water and for 5 to 10 consecutive days through feed.

POULTRY: (Gallus gallus – broilers and replacement pullets)
SLAUGHTER:
VIA WATER: slaughter of treated poultry must only be carried out 14 days after the last administration.
VIA FEED: slaughter of treated poultry must only be carried out 12 days after the last administration.
EGGS: this product must not be administered to birds producing eggs intended for human consumption.
SWINE:
VIA WATER: slaughter of treated swine must only be carried out 5 days after the last administration.
VIA FEED: slaughter of treated swine must only be carried out 11 days after the last administration.
