FARMAXILIN® 50 is a medicinal product based on amoxicillin, a semi-synthetic penicillin with bactericidal activity and time-dependent mode of action, high oral absorption and wide tissue distribution.
Its antibacterial spectrum encompasses both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Among the features that make FARMAXILIN® 50 a superior product, the following stand out:

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Poultry and swine: FARMAXILIN® 50 should be administered via the drinking water at a daily dose of 20 mg of amoxicillin per kg of live body weight, for a period of 5 to 7 consecutive days.
Turkeys: FARMAXILIN® 50 should be administered via the drinking water at a daily dose of 40 mg of amoxicillin per kg of live body weight, for a period of 5 to 10 consecutive days.

Withdrawal Period
Poultry – slaughter: the slaughter of treated birds does not require a withdrawal period after the last administration.
Eggs: this product must not be administered to birds producing eggs for human consumption.
Swine – slaughter: the slaughter of treated pigs should only be carried out 5 days after the last administration.
Turkeys: the slaughter of treated turkeys should only be carried out 2 days after the last administration.
