Rapid action on analgesia, reduction of edema and fever
PROFENAC® SOLUTION is a medication based on ketoprofen at a concentration of 30%. Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) derived from propionic acid, its action is based on a double inhibition of the enzymes cyclooxygenase (COX) and lipoxygenase (LO), creating a block in cellular and vascular responses, generating a powerful anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-pyretic effect. It can be used as supportive therapy for antimicrobials in infectious conditions as it induces rapid analgesia and reduced edema.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Swine: The recommended dose for the treatment of swines is 1.5 to 3 mg of ketoprofen (equivalent to 0.005 to 0.01 mL of the product) per kilogram of body weight per day, through drinking water. The duration of treatment should be 1 day, which can be extended for another 1 or 2 days.

Withdrawal Period
The slaughter of treated animals does not require a withdrawal period after the last administration.
