Florfenicol 10%
CEFLORSOL 10® oral antibiotic solution for drinking water. Composed of florfenicol, a broad-spectrum antibiotic, excellent intestinal absorption and rapid tissue distribution.
FORMULATION:
Each 100 ml of CEFLORSOL 10® contains:
Florfenicol ……………………………… 10 g
Excipients c.s.p. ………………….. 100 g
INDICATIONS:
POULTRY: Curative treatment of enteric, systemic and respiratory infections.
PIGS: Treatment and prevention for the Porcine Respiratory Complex (Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Micoplasma hyopneumoniae, Streptococcus suis, Haemophilus parasuis). It is also indicated for systemic infections.
INDICATIONS:
It is administered orally mixed with drinking water, for 5 days.
POULTRY: use a daily dosage of 10 to 20 mg / kg live weight.
PIGS: use a daily dosage of 10 mg / kg live weight.
Presentation
1 litre bottles.
Withdrawal Period
POULTRY: 5 days.
PIGS: 16 days.
– The commonly observed side effects are diarrhea and / or transient perianal and rectal erythema / edema, these effects can be observed for one week.
– Do not use in piglets weighing less than 2 kg.
– Do not use in sows during pregnancy or lactation.
Do not administer together with penicillin.
