Incomparable efficacy in the prophylaxis and treatment of systemic and enteric diseases in pigs caused by Mycoplasma sp., Pasteurella multocida A and D, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Haemophillus parasuis, Streptococcus suis, Brachyspira hyodisenteriae and Lawsonia in the poultry in Gallacaria and Lawsonia intracellis gallacis infections caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae.

Rovax® is a product based on valnemulin, a semi-synthetic pleuromutilinic antimicrobial at a concentration of 50%, extremely effective in the prophylaxis and treatment of systemic and enteric diseases in swine and poultry.

Rovax® has the main features:

  • Effective against all respiratory pathogens in swine;

INDICATIONS
Swine: Treatment of infections caused by Mycoplasma sp., Pasteurella multocida A and D, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Haemophillus parasuis and Streptococcus suis.
Poultry (Gallus gallus): Treatment of infections caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae.

DOSAGE AND INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
Poultry: The recommended dose for the treatment of poultry is 10 mg of valnemulin per kilogram of live weight per day through the feed. The duration of treatment should be 5 to 7 consecutive days.
Swine: The recommended dose for the treatment of swine is 10 mg of valnemulin per kilogram of live weight per day via feed. The duration of treatment should be 5 to 7 consecutive days.

Presentation

300 g sachets and 7 kg buckets.

Withdrawal Period

Swine: Does not require a withdrawal period before slaughtering animals intended for human consumption.
Poultry: Slaughter of poultry should only be carried out 13 days after the last administration.
