TRIMETOX® SOLUTION is a sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim drug with a broad spectrum of action, whose active substances have a synergistic effect on the control of respiratory and enteric diseases of poultry and swine.

Each 100 ml of TRIMETOX® SOLUTION contains:
Sulfamethoxazole ……………………………………………… 20.0 g

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
TRIMETOX® SOLUTION is indicated at a dose of 30 mg of the combination of active ingredients (25 mg sulfamethoxazole + 5 mg trimethoprim) per kilogram of body weight. The product should be administered continuously, diluted in drinking water, for a period of 5 consecutive days. The product is stable in chlorinated and non-chlorinated water for 24 hours after the solution has been prepared. It is recommended to prepare a fresh dilution after this period.

Withdrawal Period
Poultry – slaughter: the slaughter of treated birds must only be carried out 4 days after the last administration.
Eggs: this product must not be administered to birds producing eggs for human consumption.
Swine – slaughter: the slaughter of treated swine must only be carried out 8 days after the last administration.
