



Pulmonary Anti-infective and Immunomodulator
VALOTYL® is an oral antimicrobial indicated for:
Poultry (broilers, breeders, and laying hens): prevention and treatment of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens.
Swine: prevention and treatment of diseases caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Actinobacillus suis, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Haemophilus parasuis, Pasteurella multocida, Staphylococcus hyicus, Streptococcus suis, Trueperella pyogenes, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and Mycoplasma hyorhinis.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE:
Poultry (broilers, breeders, and laying hens):
Preventive treatment: The recommended dosage of VALOTYL® for Gallus gallus poultry is 15 mg of tylvalosin (equivalent to 150 mg of the product) per kilogram of body weight, administered in feed for 5 to 7 consecutive days.
Therapeutic treatment: The recommended dosage of VALOTYL® for Gallus gallus poultry is 25 mg of tylvalosin (equivalent to 250 mg of the product) per kilogram of body weight, administered via drinking water for 3 to 4 consecutive days.
Swine:
Preventive treatment: The recommended dosage of VALOTYL® for swine is 2.5 to 5 mg of tylvalosin (equivalent to 25 to 50 mg of the product) per kilogram of body weight, administered in feed for 7 to 14 consecutive days.
Therapeutic treatment: The recommended dosage of VALOTYL® for swine is 10 mg of tylvalosin (equivalent to 100 mg of the product) per kilogram of body weight, administered via drinking water for 3 to 5 consecutive days.

POULTRY: (Gallus gallus – broilers, breeders, and laying hens)
MEAT: ADMINISTRATION VIA DRINKING WATER AND FEED: Treated birds must not be slaughtered for human consumption until 5 days after the last administration.
EGGS: ADMINISTRATION VIA DRINKING WATER AND FEED: No withdrawal period is required for the consumption of eggs from treated laying hens.
SWINE: MEAT:
ADMINISTRATION VIA DRINKING WATER: Treated swine must not be slaughtered for human consumption until 5 days after the last administration.
ADMINISTRATION VIA FEED: Treated swine must not be slaughtered for human consumption until 10 days after the last administration.
