Injectable supplement
MAXIFÓS® B12is an injectable vitamin and mineral supplement indicated for cattle and swine for the prevention and treatment of phosphorus and cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) deficiencies, with the aim of stimulating metabolic processes.
MAXIFÓS® B12 should be administered to swine (piglets, adult animals, and pregnant and lactating females) and cattle (calves, adult animals, and pregnant and lactating females) at a dose of 5 to 10 mg of butafosfan per kilogram of body weight and 0.0025 to 0.005 mg of cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) per kilogram of body weight, corresponding to 0.5 to 1.0 mL of the product per 10 kg of body weight, by the intravenous or intramuscular route.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Administer 0.5 to 1.0 mL of MAXIFÓS® B12 per 10 kg of body weight by the intravenous or intramuscular route in swine and cattle. The duration of treatment may vary according to the clinical indication and the veterinarian’s assessment. Intravenous administration should be performed slowly.
Presentation
Bottles containing 100 mL and 250 mL.
Withdrawal Period
Swine: slaughter of treated swine does not require a withdrawal period after the last administration.
Cattle: slaughter of treated cattle does not require a withdrawal period after the last administration.
Milk: the product does not require a withdrawal period for the consumption of milk from treated animals.
Stability after opening
After opening the 50 and 100 mL packages, MAXIFOS® B12 should be used within 30 days.
