Ketoprofen 10%
Dual anti-inflammatory action with potent efficacy in reducing edema, analgesia and fever control
PROFENAC® INJECTABLE is a medication based on ketoprofen at a concentration of 10%. Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) derived from propionic acid, its action is based on a double inhibition of the enzymes cyclooxygenase (COX) and lipooxygenase (LO), creating a block in cellular and vascular responses, generating a potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-pyretic effect.
Ketoprofen is effective for the treatment of pain, locomotor problems, supportive treatment for respiratory infections and mastitis-metritis-agalaxia syndrome (MMA).

Each 100 mL of PROFENAC® INJECTABLE contains:

HOW TO USE
Swine: The recommended dose for the treatment of swine is 3 mg of ketoprofen (equivalent to 0.03 mL of the product) per kilogram of body weight per day, intramuscularly. The duration of treatment should be 2 to 5 consecutive days, with an interval of 24 hours between administrations.
Horses: The recommended dose for the treatment of horses is 2.2 mg of ketoprofen (equivalent to 0.022 mL of the product) per kilogram of body weight per day, intramuscularly. The duration of treatment should be 3 to 5 consecutive days, with an interval of 24 hours between administrations.
Cattle: The recommended dose for the treatment of cattle is 3 mg of ketoprofen (equivalent to 0.03 mL of the product) per kilogram of body weight per day, intramuscularly. The duration of treatment should be 1 to 3 consecutive days, with an interval of 24 hours between administrations.
Presentation
Flasks containing 50 ml and 100 ml.
Withdrawal Period
It does not require a withdrawal period after the last administration.
